Asif Munier is a development professional, human rights activist and cultural activist in Bangladesh.
His expertise in the development sector is 26 years old, with substantial projects involving national-international NGOs and UN agencies in Bangladesh. Since 2017, he has been a freelance consultant for project development and assessment on human mobility to and from Bangladesh. Asif is experienced in facilitating workshops and discussions, both for development professionals and grassroot communities. He is a media commentator on issues related to labor migration, Rohingya refugees and secularism.
Asif acquired his MA on Public Administration from the University of Dhaka in 1992 and a MA on Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, UK in 2012.
