World Child Cancer implemented a project with 7 pediatric oncology departments in Bangladesh to improve the survival rates for children with cancer, capacity development of healthcare professionals, increase public and professional awareness of childhood cancer, decrease abandonment of treatment, and provide support for patients and families. To assess the program design and implementation processes, WCC initiated the Mid-term review of the project and engaged the Managing Director of DEVCOM. As part of the assignment, he reviewed project documents and conducted interviews with medical professionals, project staff, nurses, and caregivers of child patients. Data were analyzed and synthesized and the evaluation report was finalized and submitted to WCC.
