Helvetas, with technical assistance from the Center for Development Communications (DEVCOM), developed the PDMO manual during SIMS Phase 1 in 2021. Originally designed as a two-day training, the manual is now being revised in SIMS Phase 2 to a one-day format to maximize beneficiary support within the project's limited timeframe. DEVCOM played a key role in adapting and redesigning the manual to align with the current context. As part of the assignment, DEVCOM-
- Conducted interviews with trainers and program personnel to assess field-level conditions related to PDMO.
- Revised the outline of the PDMO manual.
- Designed and developed a one-day training manual, incorporating insights from interviews and updated contextual information.
- Conducted a Training of Trainers (ToT) session for master trainers based on the revised PDMO module.
- Submitted the ToT Accomplishment Report and Task Completion Report to Helvetas.
This streamlined approach ensures that beneficiaries receive essential training efficiently within the project's scope.
