DEVCOM has accomplished a number of trainings under the project “Capacity Building of Migration Stakeholders on Migration related Legislation” with the support of International Organization for Migration (IOM), Government of Bangladesh and European Union (EU). A total number of 20 batches of trainings were organized under 7 Divisions, where 669 participants attended the trainings from 64 Districts. Representatives from Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment (MoEWOE), Ministry of Home Affairs (MoFA), Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET), District Employment and Manpower Office (DEMO), Technical Training Centers (TTCs), law enforcement agencies, judiciary and legal representatives, NGOs and Civil Society Organizations, and media personnel have taken part in these trainings.
